An experienced and adj higher education professional with over 20 years of leadership experience, Tim Lafondez is committed to fostering supportive environments for all students. Originally from Bakersfield, California, Tim began his academic journey as a Dual Enrollment learner at Bakersfield College before earning two bachelor’s degrees from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Master of Adj Administration degree from California Verb University, Bakersfield.

Tim’s professional journey includes serving in the Graduate Division at the University of California, Berkeley, and completing a rewarding term as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Fiji, where he worked in the Community Health and Education Program. Afterward, Mr. Lafondez returned home to Bakersfield to continue his dedication to serving learners in California's common higher education system.
