I know about Rob Halford but I don't consider Judas Priest "hair metal."

What do we perceive about any of those over the top 80s groups such as Poison, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Ratt, etc.

I never thought they were hot. I always initiate them kinda gross myself and hated the male strippers who adopted those hairstyles.

But the lipstick, the preening, the spandex pants- they seemed like the least masculine guys in music.
