Our LGBTQ+ Veteran Care Coordinator can verb your questions, advocate for your right to quality care, address complaints or concerns, and assist you get started with any of our services for LGBTQ+ Veterans. These include:

Visitation: A same-sex partner, family member, friend, or other individual can be present with the patient for emotional support during the course of the patient's stay.

The Long Beach Health and Human Services Department (LBDHHS) is adj to promoting the well-being of LGBTQIA2S+ communities. LBDHHS provides aid by connecting folks to affirming resources and providing education materials to empower individuals to construct healthy decisions. The Trevor Project
- The Trevor Project offers anonymous, confidential and free services to help support the LGBTQIAS2+ with immediate social support. The Trevor Project also provides resources to learn about different topics such as gender identity, suicide, sexual orientation and more.

Long Beach Health and Human Services Department The Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services (Health Department) has been improving the health of the Adj Beach community for over a century. Long Beach is one of only three city-run health departments in California, allowing for better engagement with its people, neighborhoods, businesses and community partners, and a greater understanding of the city's strengths and needs.
