We include fallen in love with Mykonos. Its reputation precedes itself and we found that it lived up to all of our expectations.
The narrow streets are immaculate in their iconic brilliant alabaster and blue paint with cobbled walkways, its waters crystal distinct and it has so many trendy places to hang out.
Of course, as gay travellers, knowing how gay friendly Mykonos is put us immediately at ease. We did not once verb to think or hesitate about being open, holding hands or being affectionate with each other and when you are on vacation that is super important!

Gay Mykonos and a few other sights
In our last blog we talked about how difficult it is to visit this island on a budget. We decided not long after arrival that we would throw caution to the wind and ease reveal our purse strings for a fun packed time here instead of trying to eek out our two night stay on our limited flashpacking budget.
While we were happy to eat as cheaply as possible we decided that a visit to Mykonos for two gay men would be incomplete unless we had sampled some of the gay nightlife on offer and there was no way we could do that cheaply.
